FONDATION GIACOMETTI
Ulysses visited the late Alberto Giacometti’s Foundation Museum in Paris in 2024. Enamored by how Giacometti was able to reform the perceived physical form of man and the visceral fragility the work brings, Ulysses visited the institution to study the sculptures and pencil/pen drawings of the late artist and provided images taken in the museum for the Foundation.
UNIQLO: ROME
The first flagship UNIQLO store in Rome opened in 2024, at the historical location Via del Corso. Ulysses was commissioned to stay and shoot in Rome, documenting The Eternal City, from the perspective of a Japanese photographer. The images were used in web and social media marketing for the grand opening, while being exhibited for the first week of operations. A printed zine including the images were gifted to customers of the first opening day.
PERMANENT STYLE MAGAZINE
Permanent Style, a leading global menswear media outlet, published their first physical magazine in 2024. Ulysses was invited to the home of menswear legend Yasuto Kamoshita and took photographs for the cover.
